About Subi |
| The city of Perth is situated on the west coast of
Australia and straddles the beautiful Swan river. With a
Mediterranean climate, pristine beaches and the
magnificent Swan river ideal for boating, it's well
known that Perth is a water sport lover's paradise. With water skiing, sailing or snorkeling
a five minute drive for most of Perth's residents, it's little
wonder that West Australians are a relaxed, friendly
lot. |
|
| And if you're keen to explore, many of
Perth's attractions are accessible from the centre of
the city. |
 |
King's Park is immediately to the west of
the CBD and provides spectacular views across the
city to the Darling Ranges to the east, and from the
lookout at the top of the park, all the way to the Ocean
and Fremantle.
|
| The inner suburbs of Northbridge and Subiaco provide
a relaxed cafe scene with plentiful shopping and the
well known Subiaco Oval - home to the West Coast Eagles,
Western Australia's premier AFL team. |
 |
 |
Fremantle, just 20 minutes to the west of the CBD is
the well known site of Allan Bond's America's Cup
defence, and enjoys an old world boat harbour feel, the
famous Fremantle Markets, and a range of gourmet
coffee's to die for. |
| A short walk to the fisherman's wharf offers some of
Australia's best seafood dining, and Fremantle also
doubles as a working Port and provides a gateway to
Rottnest Island only a few miles off the coast - home to
the Quokka and some of the best scuba diving and surfing
you'll ever enjoy. |
 |
| So whether you are visiting Perth for business or
pleasure, work or holidays - there is plenty to see and do, the pace is
relaxed and the people are friendly. So relax, and let
accommodate.com.au take care of the accommodation......just bring your
suitcase! |
